Welcome to the Internet Business Connections™ Skype Room - A Discussion Group for entrepreneurs who have questions about, or an interest in Wordpress and Blogging, Internet Security, Website Technology, and Internet Marketing.

In order to provide the best experience for all users, I simply ask that you please provide a short profile about yourself so we can get to know you better.  Also, be sure to read and follow the guidelines listed below… Then Click Here

( Please note that you will not be granted access unless you provide a brief introduction in the comment section below )

This is the perfect place for us to gather in an informal setting to explore technical and intenet marketing issues for our online businesses.

Following in the footsteps of my coaches and mentors, I am focused on helping you and other visitors to understand and shift into the entreprenerial mindset.

Being an Electrical and Software Engineer as well as a Private Tutor by trade, when we delve into the technical issues of computers, blogging, and internet marketing, we do so in a way that you are more likely to understand and to be able to implement for yourself. This is a place where you can get the assistance you need with whatever questions you might have. I am also part of a larger network of business professionals, so if I can’t answer your questions, or if you simply want to socialize and network with others, please join us.

The IBC Wordpress Skype Room is a Support, Mastermind, Accountability, and Technical Discussion group all rolled into one. If you want to build a viable web presense for yourself or your company and you want to generate a sustainable online income, this is the place to be.

If you are a beginner OR an expert, you are welcome to join us. There is no cost or obligation, and you are free to leave if you decide to do so.

In order to provide the best experience for all of us, I would like to suggest some simple guidelines for all participants:

  • We are all here to share ideas and resources, get to know one another, ask for help when we need it, give it when we can, AND be productive.
  • No blatent advertising. Affiliate links should be used sparingly since many of us will be promoting the same products. Feel free to ask people if they have an affiliate link before you buy something.
  • Discussion of Black Hat techniques should be avoided in this room. Feel free to go to a side room for such discussons. Black Hat is defined as anything that would get your site de-indexed if Google found out, or that you would not proudly discuss with Matt Cutts, or the owners of Google. Hey, I’ll even discuss these things with you, just not in this room.
  • Please refrain from discussing Religion or Politics where doing so might be confrontational or disrespectful. If you want to discuss these topics, do so in a side room.
  • Respect people’s trust and do not run with their ideas without first informing them that you would like to do so. This room is meant to be place where we can assist and collaborate with one another. That won’t happen if we have to worry that our ideas will be borrowed or stolen. On the other hand, I really have no control over what others will do, so do be somewhat cautious.
  • It is NOT ok to take information posted in this room and post it somewhere else without asking first. In other words, assume it is not ok unless you ask.
  • Controversy should be limited. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Go to a side window to resolve issues, but ask for assistance if you want or need it. Being able to resolve conflict is a great way to build meaningful and enduring relationships, and sometimes a moderator can be of assistance.
  • Work hard, stay focused, drink plenty of fluids, AND get up and stretch every two hours or so, and have fun!

In order to provide the best experience for all users, I simply ask that you please provide a short profile about yourself so we can get to know you better.  Also, be sure to read and follow the guidelines listed above.

I like this Jerry. I like that you did a post on your blog and a link to it in your Skype room guidelines (blue box at top of the Skype room). I like all that you said in the post and in your comment too. When I am more rested … and find the strength to make a new vision for my direction, I hope I come back here to answer in more detail your questions. I must rest and restore now … love and give to myself to regain my strength and I thank Kim Emerson for helping me see how much I need to do this. You actually Jerry were somewhat instrumental in me becoming aware of her. Thank you. She is a Gem!

May I suggest that you bring this to people’s attn in you Skype room periodically… ask them to respond to the questions in the comments.

I do think a Forum would be great … and wonder if we should all have a big Skype room users forum… for all of us to gather (our thoughts) in.

    Hi Jerry,

I really love the way you have your guidelines organized - it’s clear and concise and easy to read and understand! Guess that’s the “tutor” side in you coming out!

Thanks for the reminder to get up and dance every 2 hours - we all tend to get “tied up” and focused on what we are doing at the computer and when we do finally stand up, ooooh, the bones do creak! I thank you sincerely for that reminder. The water tip is also good - none of us drink enough and it’s a great start to healthy living!

Thanks again, my friend. Stay well, warm and happy - your posts and guidelines are very helpful and I, for one, appreciate your willingness to help us all understand what we are doing in this internet world. Everyone has a place, some of us are having trouble finding it!

    Yours in networking,
    Carol Deckert

    Hi Jerry,

I really appreciate the opportunity of speaking with, you and Denise, in the BXM Lobby this morning. I look forward to ongoing association with both of you as we apply our efforts to developing our niches and providing support to each other. Everyone has their way of how they choose to provide support to associates. I have chosen to provide a platform that will allow anyone to bring exposure to their business through an on-line mall environment.

The wordpress, Internet security, and computer skills are a wonderful combination and will be of assistance to many; I feel that you have a winning combination service. Imagine walking into a real mall and seeing a store with the title Wordpress, Internet Security, Computer Skills. People who are on the Internet, like we are, would more than likely come in your local store to speak to you and check out your service. Well the same principal applies to exposing what you are offering at, BizXpoMall. This mall is designed to help those who want real-live interaction and to meet with like-minded associates who may be seeking what you are offering. This is your chance to interview who you are planning to do business with.

I always say that it is really a good thing when multiple people are presenting the same type of business. Having a choice of who to have business connecitons with, definitely, has its benefits.

I would like to, again, offer that you bring your niche to the mall and get exposure that way. Get back with the person who referred you to BXM. Hope to see you establish your presence at the mall. Chat soon.
