What does that mean?
Well, it means I’m going to present myself to you in a way you can hopefully relate to if you are or have been in a similar position as me.
My Situation:
I’ve been working with Internet Marketing for over 18 months and I’m still not generating the kind of income from it that I want to.
I have been mostly supporting myself with my offline private tutoring business. I enjoy that very much. However, the income isn’t enough for the lifestyle I want to live. So I’m going to start keeping a record of my daily, weekly, and monthly activities in order to track my progress toward building a highly profitable and sucessful online business .
My Goal:
Hopefully this business journal will not only help me, but it will help you as well. It will help me by keeping me accountable for my actions. It will help you by allowing you to see my successes and failures. We will therefore both be able to benefit.
This falls right in line with the idea that I have heard attributed to Zig Ziglar, “You will be successful when you have helped enough other people to become successful.” And I hope not only to be successful for myself, but also I’d like to take everone on my list of subscribers along with me!
I basically realized just the other day, when I started thinking about why I haven’t been blogging and generating content for the search engines to pick up, that I might as well share what I do every day. After all, most of my time is spent researching the next latest product and service launched by all the other marketers I know. Some of whom didn’t start much earlier than I did. And now they are “making money” online but I’m still not. So why not share what I read about and do reviews for the products I purchase.
You’ll get to learn what I learn and hey, you might even want to buy stuff through my affiliate links just to say, “Hey Jerry, thanks for sharing stuff in a non-hyped, non-BS way.” (Gee, now that I’ve said that, I may have to live up to it… hmm)
My Business:
Essentially you might say I have two businesses. One is the online business of promoting internet marketing products, and the other is my tutoring business, which by the way is here: www.RedAppleTutoring.com. I’m a litte bit nervous about allowing my tutoring clients to see the other side of my business, such as this blog; but there I go thinking of people as being anonymous entities who will only judge me and be critical, when in fact I usually share these parts of my life with my tutoring clients anyway.
For those of you who are my current, future, or prior clients, I welcome you also.
So, here we go. It’s going to be a bumpy, but fun ride!

Hi Jerry,
Great to see you take this approach, transparency is always a great idea. So you’re basically going the affiliate marketer’s route then, it seems?
Good luck with everything, and don’t be a stranger! ;)
